Research can be highly focused, but sometimes you have to ask and answer really big questions. Here, the question was where the burgeoning field of Synthetic Biology was headed overall, and where the best opportunities lay for our client. To do this, I interviewed both scientific and commercial leaders in this exciting industry and used the insights I gleaned to create a unique opportunity model.
